The Stables has beamed ceilings and cosy rooms with central heating and provides ample and comfortable accommodation for a large gathering of friends or families, with the added benefit of parking for several cars. Two large sitting rooms allow the noisy or reclusive teenagers to have their own space and several bathrooms and en suite shower rooms means that no one needs to queue for too long. Swallow Cottage has its own private picnic and barbeque area in addition to having access to the communal grounds.
Accommodation: The front door leads to the hallway with the second lounge on the right. This room has two sofas, two armchairs, TV, Freeview and DVD as well as an additional dining table and chairs. For special occasions,with minimal upheaval, this room can be used as a formal dining room. The large farmhouse kitchen is on the other side of the hallway and has a gas hob, eye level double oven, fridge and freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and a flexible dining arrangement to meet different requirements. The main sitting room has patio doors that give access to the picnic and barbeque area behind the cottage. There are two large sofas, an armchair, natural stone fireplace with an electric wood burner effect heater, Widescreen TV, DVD and Freeview. A twin bedroom with two 3' single beds and a double bedroom with 5' bed are off a corridor that leads to the family bathroom which has a bath, hand basin, separate shower cubicle and WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor which has a large family bedroom with 4'6" double bed and a 3' single bed with en suite containing a shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. There are two further double bedrooms each with 4'6" bed, one with an en suite bathroom the other with an en suite shower room, both have a hand basin and WC.
Outside: In addition to the private picnic and barbeque area behind the cottage, the communal grounds provide ample space for the steam to be run off the young ones and for ball games. Extra picnic tables provide additional opportunities to view the surrounding countryside
